Alex Fokkens

Alexander Fokkens received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Double Bass from the University of Cape Town. As a student at UCT, he conducted, to critical acclaim, both the UCT Symphony Orchestra and UCT Opera studio.

Management

The FSSO Board governs the orchestra and therefore oversees that everything regarding the orchestra is done properly.

Planning and budgets are approved, and office bearers appointed by the board.

Piet Moolman

Piet Moolman has been the manager of the FSSO since January 2008. He has extensive experience in planning and managing the performing arts.
